Develop A Jeep Hard Top Company

Whether you ever demand to detach the callous top on your Jeep and store it absent, a indurated top carrier will cause this easier. This Slogan Testament attach to the impenetrable top's rear panel and benefit you in both detaching the top and hauling it absent. You'll basically cause a sturdy frame that Testament abutment the burdensome top while it is turned over with wheels attached for it to roll on. Most of what you'll entail should be at any hardware or habitation service store.

Instructions

1. Degree the length and heighth of the arduous top's rear panel. The carrier's size should measure approximately the same dimensions as this end. It could be slightly smaller than the rear panel's length and height but should not exceed it.

2. Take four sturdy metal pipes or bars. Stainless steel may work best as the carrier will be exposed to the elements. Two bars should be approximately as long as the back panel's length and two should be the same length as its height. Connect these to form a rectangle using simple bent fixtures. Foam or PVC fixtures can work as long as they are tough and will fit your pipes.

3. Paint the frame if you want it to blend in and not stand out on the vehicle. Find a paint color that closely matches the shade of your hard top.

4. Drill holes straight through each long-sided pipe near each end. Two more will hook onto either the bottom of the rear panel or one to the front edge of each side panel. Look for adjustable straps since you will deal two different lengths.7.

Attach suction cups with hooks to the frame. You can apply a strong epoxy adhesive to bond them. Welding can be risky. This will give partial support to the carrier when mounting it onto the hard top, but you can't expect it to completely support the carrier.

6. Connect the carrier to the hard top using straps with hooks. You'll want two straps that will go all the way across the roof and hook onto the hard top's front end. Take four wheels with casters that have a connecting bolt attached. Attach each wheel to the frame by sliding the bolt through one set of holes and securing it with a hex bolt.5.

Test the carrier. After detaching the hard top from the vehicle, grasp the carrier to lift it off. Turn over the top so the carrier is on the ground, and you should be able to roll it to any storage area you have.
