Specs Of Ford Focus Zetec

Ford released the Center example bearing the Zetec engine in 2005 -- a deed that established aerial standards for immature vehicle handling.

Control

The Zetec came standard with rack-and-pinion steering. An independent, MacPherson strut-style, anti-roll-bar suspension provided stability in the front, and an independent, multi-link suspension with anti-roll bar stabilized the rear. Ventilated discs provided stopping power in the front, while the rear used a servo-assisted drum braking system.

The automobile's sound administration besides successfully dampened the engine's operating din.

Performance

An inline, dual-overhead-cam (DOHC) four-cylinder, 1.6-liter engine powered the Zetec, producing a respectable 100 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 107 pound-feet of torque at 4,000 rpm (the vastness of impulse required to turn a camshaft one abundant revolution). It had a 3.11-inch Muzzle (the dimensions of amplitude a piston has to enter an engine's combustion chamber), a 3.2 inch stroke (the distance a piston must travel each direction when entering and exiting a combustion chamber) and a displacement of 1,596 cubic cm (the amount of volume swept from an engine's pistons when completing a full cycle).

Dimensions

The vehicle had an overall length of 163.5 inches, a height of 56.3 inches and a width of 66.9 inches. The Zetec had a wheelbase of 103 inches and a weight of 2,374 lbs.
