Make Factory Vehicle Fresh paint Look Wetter

4. Sand the entire car again with 800-grit sandpaper. Use the same process of sanding lightly while using water. Once this step is done, sand the car again using 1,200-grit sandpaper. 5. Pour buffing compound onto a buffing pad and buff the car, starting at the top and front and working down toward the rear. Apply more compound, as needed. Once the buffing is complete, the car will look very wet and glossy.
