3. Clean the empty socket with a wire brush if needed. Rust will sometimes build up, and cleaning the socket will eliminate potential problems.


5. Check to make sure the lights are working. Have somebody watch as you click on the turn signals and step on the brakes.


4. Replace the bulb. In most cases, all you need to do is push the bulb into place. Some vehicles require you to push while turning.
