Switch The Starter On The 1998 S10

Slide the replacement starter onto the motor, and bolt it in place with the 3/8-inch ratchet, extension and socket. Reinstall the electrical connections on the starter, using the open-end wrench and ratchet.


5. Reconnect the positive terminal from the battery, then do the same for the negative terminal. Start the truck, and make sure it is functioning correctly. Once it does, lower the truck off the jack stands.
