Pull the oil filter out of the engine by hand and discard it. Wipe up any oil remaining in the oil filter housing, using a shop towel.6.
Tighten the oil filter to 12 foot-pounds.
9. Unscrew the oil cap from the right side of the engine. Fill the engine with three quarts of 10W-30 API SF-Grade engine oil, using a funnel. Screw the oil cap into place.
10. Reinstall the lower exhaust pipe onto the front cylinder. Tighten the exhaust pipe nuts to 14 foot-pounds. Slip both mufflers onto the upper and lower exhaust pipes, then tighten the muffler clamps, using a 4 mm Allen wrench.
11. Reinstall the right front footboard, using a socket wrench and a 17 mm socket. Tighten the footboard bolts to 47 foot-pounds.
