Use A Starter On The Honda Accord

3. Disconnect the starter cable from the starter motor using a wrench to remove the nut. Unplug the black-and-white wire harness from the solenoid.


4. Remove the starter mounting bolts using a ratchet and socket. Pull the starter off the engine and up and out of the engine compartment.


5. Put the new starter in the engine compartment and into place on the engine. Secure the bolts tightly using the socket and ratchet.


6. Reconnect the wire harness to the solenoid and the starter cable.


7. Reconnect the lower radiator hose to the bracket on the starter.


8. Reconnect the negative battery terminal and tighten the nut with a wrench.1. Open the engine compartment and disconnect the negative battery terminal using a wrench to loosen the nut.2. Remove the lower radiator hose from the bracket on the starter assembly using a wrench.
