Remove A 91 Tercel Radio

The inventory radio that came installed in a 1991 Toyota Tercel may posses been beyond compare for its eternity, on the other hand by nowadays's standards, it's mislaid a uncommon features. Pull the black bezel off the console with your hands, releasing the pressure clips in the process. Unplug the defroster switch electrical connection on the backside using your hands.2.

1. Locate the black bezel that goes around the stock stereo, and the seams between it and remainder of the center console. You can add these features and else to your 1991 Tercel by installing an aftermarket deck. This can elevate the car's resale value, besides as give you the features you've been missing. First you have to remove the old radio.


Unscrew the radio from the dashboard using the Phillips-head screwdriver. Pull the radio out of the dash, then unplug the wiring harness and antenna lead from the backside with your hands.


3. Unscrew the radio from the pocket beneath it using the Phillips-head screwdriver. Slide the radio out of the bracket.
