Twospeed Wiper Switch Wiring

Most windscreen wipers act in two speeds.


Windscreen wipers on most cars chalk up two speeds. The two speeds are controlled by a three-position windscreen wiper switch. Additionally, some windscreen wipers further keep one or bounteous intermittent settings. A two-speed windscreen wiper switch is truly two switches Stirring stable in one packet. One switch controls off, low, and altitudinous and the other switch provides dynamism to field the windscreen wipers while they're in the off position.


Instructions


1. Connect the wire from the high-speed Engine contact to the high-speed terminal on the high-low-off cut of the switch. This wire may be labelled 53b.


2. Note that this wire is also connected to the low-speed terminal on the high-low-off section of the switch. This wire may be labeled 53. The low and high positions on the park section of the switch will be left with no connections.


Connect 12-volt ignition gift to the average terminal on the high-low-off shorten of the switch. This wire may be labeled 53a. The off position on the high-low-off section of the switch will be left with no connection.


4. Connect the wire from the parking cam on the motor to the common terminal on the park section of the switch. This wire may be labeled 53e or 31b.


5. Connect the wire from the low-speed motor contact to the off (park) terminal on the park section of the switch. Connect the wire from the low-speed Engine contact to the low-speed terminal on the high-low-off decrease of the switch. This wire may be labelled 53.3.
