The Ford Mustang is synonymous with American muscle cars and the birth of the pony van segment. In 1992, the Mustang was offered in three models. The GT was at the top of the lineup, above the LX and LX 5.0. On average, however, the Mustang was considered by many to be an American legend."
Initially, generations were short and the second-generation was available in 1967 and 1968. The third was produced in 1969 and 1970. When the sixth-generation arrived in 1979, it remained in Industry for the longest extension of bout of any period of Mustangs, available until 1993.
Types
The Ford Mustang GT was available in two entity styles in 1992. The hatchback and convertible were both equipped with a 5.0-liter pushrod V-8 engine, which produced 225 horsepower at 4,200 rpm and 300 foot-pounds of torque at 3,200 rpm. The 5.0-liter was mated to a five-speed publication transmission and a four-speed automatic was an available preference. Of the 79,280 Ford Mustangs produced in 1992, 20,445 were GT's. Equipped with the 5.0-liter engine, the Mustang could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 6.7 seconds.
Size

Unfortunately, decreasing sales of the Mustang resulted in 1992 having the lowest Industry flight of Mustang GT's from 1982 to 1993-down another 3,983 units from 1991." When talking approximately likely drawbacks of the 1992 Mustang, the writers at Mustang Evolution stated, "the 1992 V8 Mustangs boasted a fine acceleration and all models handled able-bodied; some drawbacks included interior bewailing, lack of room in the rear, slow acceleration on the four cylinder and gas mileage on the V8. Available in a hatchback and convertible body styles, inceptive introduced in 1979, the 1992 Ford Mustang GT was considered an aging vehicle.
