Take Away The Car headlights On The Toyota Paseo

Apply pliers to remove the nigrescent plastic contain from the Paseo's core support.

When replacing or repairing the headlights on the Toyota Paseo, it is a good idea to first remove the headlight housing, due to the cramped size of the engine bay. Fortunately, this is a fairly simple operation which can be accomplished with a pair of pliers and a socket set. With the headlight housing removed, replacing the headlight bulb is a simple matter of pulling out the old bulb and replacing it with a new one.

Instructions

1. Open the hood of the car. You will see a black plastic cover which mounts from fender to fender across the front of the car. It is fitted to the core support of the car with compression plugs. Remove them with the socket set.3. Pull the headlight housing up and out to release it from the plastic pins which hold the bottom of the housing in place.

Use the pliers to remove these plugs, then pull the black plastic cover out of the way.2. Locate the mounting bolts which attach the headlight housing to the core support of the car. There are two bolts attaching each.

The headlight bulb sockets are still attached to the housing. To remove them, press the locking pin in with your thumb and twist the socket housing until it releases from the headlight housing. The turn signal bulb is removed in the same fashion. Do so to free the headlight housing from the car. Remove the other headlight in the same way.
