Removing the rear window of your Ford Ranger allows you to upgrade, convert or repair the window. The 1995 Ranger came with assorted rear-window options, including a one-piece window and a sliding-glass window. In either condition, removing the back glass is a relatively child's play job. Honest brood over to yield your extent and be careful when doing so, as broken glass in your Motor lorry can gate forever To cleanse absent.
Instructions
1. Slide the seat in your Ranger all the idea forward. Skinny the seat backs forward so you can access the rear window. Remove the screws that secure the plastic trim around the window, using a Phillips screwdriver.
2. Pull the trim panels off and set them aside. Place a small flat-head screwdriver under the rubber gasket in one of the upper corners of the window. Pry the gasket away from the body. Insert a larger flat-head screwdriver into the gap and move over about six inches. Set the window and gasket aside.
4. Move to the outside of the truck and grasp the top of the window. Pull it up and out of the lower portion of the gasket, removing it completely from the window opening. Pry the gasket down again.3. Work along the top edge of the window until you have pried the gasket out along the entire edge. Push the top of the window out slightly, prying the gasket away along the right and left side.
