5. Remove the spring and loosen the spring clamp using the Allen key. The spring can now be removed from the tool.


6. Insert the replacement spring into the tool and compress it down using the Allen key.


7. Place the spring with the spring tool into the door jam, and slowly loosen the spring tool using the Allen key. Make sure the spring is positioned in the same manner it was originally.


8. Remove the spring clamp tool from the spring.
