Greasy grimy footprints on the Floor-mat or a grease stain on the seat can easily be removed provided you be acquainted arrange it. Test the fabric or carpeting in an inconspicuous location such as under a seat. Spray the carb cleaner on and wait a couple of minutes and see what happens to the fabric or carpet. If nothing happens then continue on to the next step. If it discolors or melts then you will have to use the Shout and hot water technique.

1.2. Spray the carb cleaner directly on the grease spot for a couple of seconds to momentarily dissolve the grease. Using a clean shop towel, (I prefer the blue heavy duty throw aways)dab the dissolved grease to absorb the stain out of the carpet or seat cover. You may have to repeat this a couple of times. You will notice the stain will vanish quite quickly.
3. If the carb cleaner didn't remove all of the stain or you couldn't use it because of discoloration in your test area then we move onto the Shout method. Soak the effected area with Shout and let it sit for a couple of minutes. If it's really grimy then you will need to scrub with the bristle brush for about 10 seconds and check progress. If then stain lifts then you need to fire up your shop vac, pour a little warm water on the area and vacuum it up right away. Repeat this process and stains will go away most of the time.
