Air compressors are used for a divergency of internal and commercial applications, including drills, Spike guns and sanders. They typically come in one- or two-cylinder versions, depending on the requirements of the effects they capacity.
Dual Stage Compressor
At the commercial equivalent, some two-cylinder air compressors are what are accepted as two episode, or dual phase, compressors.
Regulator
Compressors rarely need to run at maximum pressure, so there is a regulator on the air line that allows you to adjust the pressure to the required level. Gauges before, and after, the regulator monitor the cylinder and air line pressures and a safety valve opens if the pressure switch malfunctions.The inceptive cylinder compresses air and pumps it into the moment cylinder, which compresses it also, increasing the power.
