The Harley-Davidson Classic exhaust is a two-into-one exhaust transaction. This process the exhaust conduit that bolts to the rear cylinder intellect comes down and connects to the tube that comes elsewhere of the front cylinder sense. This creates a unmarried tailpipe extending to the back of the Harley-Davidson Classic. This differs from the traditional dual exhaust that most Harley-Davidson motorcycles come equipped with. Aftermarket pipes normally propoundment an aggressive exhaust notice and improved engine response. Aftermarket pipes are designed to retrofit onto your Harley-Davidson Classic.
Instructions
1. Secure the tailpipe to the Classic's frame using the bolt, socket and ratchet.
2. Remove the two bolts that secure the exhaust pipe flange to the rear cylinder head with a socket and ratchet.
3. Remove the two bolts that secure the exhaust pipe flange to the front cylinder head with a socket and ratchet and pull the old exhaust free from the Harley-Davidson Classic.
4. Place the aftermarket pipe against the motorcycle and position the pipe flanges against the cylinder heads. A second person is helpful when lining up the flanges and holding the exhaust pipes while you secure them to the cylinder heads.
5. Bolt the exhaust pipes to the front and back cylinder heads using the bolts, socket and ratchet.
6. Remove the bolt that secures the tailpipe to the Harley Classic's motorcycle frame. The bolt is below the oil tank on the right side of the motorcycle. Remove the bolt with a socket and ratchet.
