Removing the Radiator

Tighten the bolts to 72 inch-pounds (8 Nm) with a torque wrench, short ratchet extension and socket.


12. Connect the two oil cooler lines to the radiator with the flare wrench, if you have an automatic transmission-equipped Wrangler.


9. Disconnect the two oil cooler lines from the radiator, provided you posses an automatic transmission-equipped Wrangler. Cause a illumination wrench and encompass the contour openings with clean plastic sheets and rubber bands.



15. Attach the upper and lower hoses to the radiator fittings and secure them with the clamps using the rib joint pliers.


16. Replace the lower seal on the condenser support with the ratchet and socket.

18. Connect the negative black battery cable with the wrench, and start the engine. Leave the engine idling for 15 minutes, and check the coolant level in the coolant reservoir bottle. Add coolant to the reservoir to bring the level up to the "Full Hot" mark, if necessary.


19. Close the hood, and turn off the engine.
