1. Look in and around the dent to make sure there are no chips or cracks in the paint.3. Place the plunger on the surface near the dent and make sure the rim is covered with soap and water. Slide the plunger into place over the dent and press it against the car to create a suction.


Find a household plunger. Place a small amount of liquid soap onto the dent and spray or pour water over it. This keeps the area lubricated and makes it easier for the plunger to slide around and over the dent.


If the sheet metal is showing in any areas it should be painted for protection from rust. If there are not chips or cracks in the paint it can most likely be repaired using paintless methods.2.


4. Press the plunger against the car and use a repeated plunging motion, pulling back hard, until the metal moves and the dent is pulled out. The plunger can be slid around over the dent to pull out all damaged areas.
